JOIN TEAM WRIGHT
Megan is a lifelong Brevard resident, proud BPS graduate, and mom of two daughters educated in our district. The progress our schools have made – safer campuses, stronger standards, record graduation rates, happened because people stepped up.
And the work isn’t finished.
You can support this campaign in the way that fits you best! Whether that’s door knocking, sign waving, making phone calls, writing hand-written letters, sharing on social media, giving a testimonial, or making a financial contribution.
Every effort matters. Every role matters. Every voice matters.
Join Team Wright today and help continue the momentum.
About the Volunteer Roles
If you sign up to sign wave, you will be added to our sign waving list. You’ll be notified when and where we will hold sign waving events. Attend all of the ones that are convenient for your schedule and location.
Signs will be provided for waving, but you can bring out your American Flag if you so choose! This is a fun, group activity that usually lasts 1-2 hours… sometimes more during election days. Participate as long as you feel comfortable.
Door knocking is one of the most effective ways to reach voters and share Megan’s record of results.
As a volunteer, you’ll visit homes in assigned neighborhoods to introduce yourself, leave campaign literature, and have short, respectful conversations with voters about why Megan deserves re-election.
You can expect:
A brief training before you start
A walk list with mapped routes
Campaign materials provided for you
Clear talking points so you feel prepared
The option to work in pairs if preferred
There is no pressure to debate or argue — your role is simply to introduce the campaign, share information, and listen.
Most conversations are short and positive. Some homes won’t answer. Some will just want a flyer. Every door you knock helps increase awareness and turnout.
Whether you can give one hour or a full afternoon, your time makes a real difference.
Phone calls are a simple and powerful way to connect with voters across District 1.
As a volunteer, you’ll reach out to voters using a provided call list to share Megan’s record, remind them about important voting dates, and answer basic questions about the campaign.
You can expect:
A short training so you feel confident before you begin
A simple script with key talking points
Clear instructions on how to log responses
The option to call from home at times that work for you
Most calls are brief. Some voters won’t answer. Some will simply listen and say thank you. Occasionally, you’ll speak with someone who wants more information — and that’s where you make a real difference.
You’re not expected to debate or handle complex policy discussions — just to represent the campaign respectfully and share the facts.
Every call helps increase turnout and ensures voters know what’s at stake.
In a world of texts and emails, a hand-written note stands out.
As a volunteer, you’ll write short, personal letters to voters sharing why you support Megan and encouraging them to vote. These letters are warm, respectful, and authentic — not scripted political messages.
You can expect:
Simple talking points to guide you
Clear instructions on who to write and what to include
Materials provided (or reimbursement if needed)
The flexibility to write from home, on your schedule
You don’t need to be a policy expert. What matters most is your genuine voice. A personal note can make a lasting impression and move someone from undecided to engaged.
It’s quiet but powerful work.
Every letter helps strengthen community connection and voter turnout.
One post can reach hundreds – sometimes thousands of voters.
As a social media volunteer, you’ll help amplify Megan’s message by sharing campaign updates, event information, accomplishments, and voting reminders on your own platforms.
You can expect:
Ready-to-share graphics and posts
Key talking points and captions
Important dates and announcements to highlight
The flexibility to post on your own schedule
You don’t need a large following to make an impact. When friends and neighbors see support from someone they trust, it carries weight.
You can share a post, write your own message about why you support Megan, leave positive comments, or help respond respectfully to misinformation.
Digital engagement strengthens momentum and every share helps move the campaign forward.
Your voice matters.
If Megan’s leadership has made a difference for your family, your school, or your community, we invite you to share your story.
As a testimonial volunteer, you can provide a short written statement — or record a brief video — explaining why you support Megan and why her continued leadership is important for Brevard’s schools.
You can expect:
Simple guidance on what to include
The option to submit a written quote or short video
Approval before anything is shared publicly
Flexible participation from home
You don’t need to be political – just genuine. Authentic stories from real community members are powerful and persuasive.
When voters hear directly from neighbors, parents, teachers, and community leaders, it reinforces what matters most: results, leadership, and trust.
Your story could be the one that inspires someone else to vote.
Personal connections win campaigns.
As a host, you’ll open your home, business, or community space to gather friends, neighbors, or colleagues for a small event where Megan can share her vision, answer questions, and connect directly with voters.
You can expect:
Support from the campaign team to plan the event
Help with invitations and promotion
Clear talking points and event structure
A manageable, comfortable gathering size
Events can be casual – coffee in the morning, a small evening reception, or a neighborhood meet-up. You choose what feels right for you.
Hosting is one of the most impactful ways to introduce Megan to voters in a personal setting and strengthen community momentum.
If you’re willing to bring people together, we’ll handle the rest.
Visibility matters.
As a yard sign volunteer, you’ll help deliver and place campaign signs at the homes of supporters across the district. Every sign placed increases awareness and reinforces momentum in neighborhoods throughout District 1.
You can expect:
A list of confirmed supporter addresses
Clear placement guidelines
Signs and materials provided
Flexible scheduling that fits your availability
This role is simple, efficient, and impactful. You’ll help ensure supporters are represented and that voters consistently see Megan’s name throughout the community.
It’s a small action that makes a big difference, especially as Election Day approaches.
If you only want to request a yard sign, please fill out our form dedicated to yard sign requests.
